Daniel R. Núñez Ariza

Esq. — Founder & Managing Partner

Daniel R. Núñez Ariza, Esq., founded DNA Law, P.A. to provide focused, ethical immigration advocacy that combines rigorous legal analysis with clear, compassionate client communication. He earned his J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which informs his client-centered approach to case evaluation and advocacy. With ten years of practice experience, Daniel concentrates on federal immigration matters before USCIS and EOIR, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, asylum and humanitarian relief, waivers, naturalization, and removal defense. Notably, he obtained asylum approval for four clients during the Trump administration — a record that reflects his ability to develop persuasive factual records and legal arguments even in challenging policy environments. As managing partner he oversees case strategy, quality control, and the firm’s ethical and trust-account practices to ensure consistent, reliable representation for every client.

Derek Rhormens

Paralegal

Our Paralegal is an essential member of DNA Law, P.A., handling the day-to-day case work that keeps client matters moving forward. Working under the supervision of the managing attorney, the paralegal prepares and assembles USCIS petitions and EOIR hearing packets, manages calendaring and deadlines, conducts client intakes, and performs quality control on all filings. This position is staffed and fully integrated into our client service workflow.

Managing Lead Paralegal

Managing Lead Paralegal — Oversees paralegal operations at DNA Law, P.A., managing case preparation, docketing, client intake, and quality control for USCIS and EOIR matters. Bilingual (EN/ES) and 19 years immigration experience. The Managing Lead Paralegal is the operational backbone of our small, focused immigration practice. Reporting to the Managing Attorney, the Lead Paralegal supervises paralegal workflows, prepares and assembles filings for USCIS and EOIR, manages the firm docket, conducts intakes, and enforces quality-control and trust-account procedures under attorney supervision. This role combines hands-on case work with team leadership and process improvement to keep client matters moving efficiently and ethically.
